About the Role

Provide oversight and monitoring of critical data and execution for Wealth Management processes. Foster a culture of collaboration to ensure data quality and governance, and advise on data-related issues and remediation actions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document data intensive reporting and reconciliation processes in WM Globally and identify opportunities to optimize.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide advisory services on the implementation of CDO data frameworks.
  • Provide expertise on the design of Data Quality rules, driving consistency and re-use.
  • Advise on new Data Governing Models to comply with business needs and policies.
  • Develop operating model for capturing underlying Data details to enable Data Observation and IMR.
  • Recommend solutions to improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Advise on root cause remediation, preventative controls, and prioritization of issue resolution.
  • Collect metadata and lineage information for identified Critical Data Elements (CDEs), critical reports, key business processes, and data domains across WM.

Requirements

  • Post secondary education or equivalent.
  • 7+ years prior experience in data practices, data quality monitoring or data lineage capture.
  • Experience handling and deriving information from large data sets.
  • Understanding of wealth management, retail and commercial banking policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python etc.
  • Familiarity with data governance and metadata management tools such as Collibra, IBM CP4D and cloud technology experience, especially Snowflake, MS Azure or AWS.
