About the Role

Deployment Success Managers own our clients' post-go-live operational success on ValonOS, acting as operator, client strategist, data investigator, and executive translator. You will develop a deep understanding of each client's business and operating model, how ValonOS is configured, and what "doing the job correctly" looks like. You will co-develop solutions with clients to close gaps in process, training, configuration, or product, and remain accountable until the client's operators are running sustainably and the business outcome is measurable. This is not a customer support or passive account management role; you will own the ongoing partnership, monitor operational health, diagnose root causes, rebuild processes, and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Build and monitor operational health dashboards, using data to identify client struggles.
  • Investigate root causes through data and direct shadowing, driving resolution instead of documenting problems.
  • Facilitate client development of new SOPs and operating processes that leverage ValonOS.
  • Operate as a proactive safe-hands backstop when needed to prevent client operation failures.
  • Own the ongoing business-unit-level client relationship, including business updates and executive reviews.
  • Develop and maintain staffing models grounded in ValonOS data and client operating models.
  • Drive adoption of new products and surface upsell opportunities.
  • Serve as a two-way conduit between clients and R&D, performing discovery and surfacing feedback.
  • Own the outcome, diagnose, fix process, influence product, and measure client operator success.
  • Shift from firefighting client escalations to proactive safe-hands and early signal detection.
  • Create clarity amidst incomplete data, undocumented legacy behavior, and unclear ownership.
  • Build alignment and defend decisions with evidence.
  • Restructure workflows around AI and coding agents.
  • Build new frameworks for a new function within a rapidly expanding business.

Requirements

  • Track record of driving operational outcomes in complex environments.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative horsepower to decompose ambiguous operational problems.
  • Practical comfort with technical tools, including SQL, data, and AI tooling.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency, restructuring workflows around AI and coding agents.
  • Clear, calibrated communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ownership maturity: move quickly with incomplete information and stay accountable.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Curiosity, horsepower, and ability to learn a complex, regulated industry quickly are required.
