About the Role

A family in Tribeca seeks an experienced weekend nanny for their four children (ages 18 months, 4.5, 7, and 9). The role involves providing attentive, engaging care, managing weekend routines, and ensuring each child's needs are met. This is a long-term opportunity for a nurturing, organized nanny who values warmth, consistency, and excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of the children.
• Provide attentive, age-appropriate care for four children, including naps and daily routines for the 18-month-old.
• Plan and facilitate engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for each child.
• Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children.
• Assist with dressing, hygiene, and maintaining consistent routines.
• Coordinate and supervise weekend activities, including sports or birthday parties.
• Maintain excellent communication with parents/lead nanny, providing updates and notes.
• Help ensure the household runs smoothly by staying organized and anticipating children's needs.

Requirements

• Significant professional experience caring for multiple children of varying ages.
• CPR certified or willing to become certified.
• Experience as a camp counselor, educator, or in similar child-focused roles is a plus.
• Comfortable around dogs.
• Ability to speak Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
• Able to take July and August off without pay.
• Legal to work in the U.S.
