Responsibilities
- Support the Resident Services Director in implementing department programs and functions.
- Establish and maintain a medication system.
- Complete daily Quality Enhancement reviews.
- Maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians.
- Schedule and supervise staff, and be available to cover staffing when needed.
- Maintain a staggered schedule with the RSD, including a rotational on-call schedule.
- Provide training and orientation to new staff and ongoing development to current staff.
- Ensure adherence to company policy, local health and safety codes, and federal regulations.
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living to residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, department heads, staff, and the Executive Director.
- Perform assessments and reassessments to determine resident needs and service plan recommendations.
- Prioritize tasks to ensure optimum services to residents.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and report safety or quality issues.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Requirements
- Licensed RN/LPN/LVN.
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification as required.
- Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.
- Must complete all state-required training to maintain licensure or certification.
- Management experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a team setting and provide strong customer service.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Able to clearly communicate in English.
- Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Able to effectively present to a small group or in a one-on-one basis.
- Must be able to perform simple calculations.
- Able to work flexible hours.
- Position requires driving responsibilities.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must satisfactorily meet and be in compliance with Company’s Motor Vehicle Policy standards.
