About the Role
The Channel Production Manager provides leadership and ownership for all operational functions related to providing Title services to customers. This position will be responsible for production operations of a group supporting multiple counties, reporting to the Channel Director, and is accountable for an internal team of up to 30 employees, plus leads offshore production teams.
Responsibilities
- Has full supervisory responsibility for a staff, delegating tasks, managing workflow, and making staffing recommendations.
- Coaches and mentors staff, responsible for performance management.
- Assigns and directs work, monitoring progress and status of assigned work.
- Drives day-to-day operations of a business segment, including onshore and offshore teams, to meet or exceed goals.
- Ensures organizational flexibility through cross-training and reviewing outsourcing volumes with offshore operations.
- Establishes channel goals and objectives to continuously lead, train, coach, and manage employee performance.
- Works closely with internal customers to ensure customer service requests and problem resolution meet expectations.
- Engages in strategic partnerships with clients to enhance customer service agreements, resolve issues, and develop processes for efficiency.
- Strengthens client relationships by working towards solutions and soliciting feedback on team performance.
- Collaborates with the financial organization and Channel Director to improve unit cost performance.
- Analyzes monthly P&L and unit cost data.
- Utilizes financial tools to direct staff and implement operational changes that positively impact financial performance.
- Challenges the team to think outside the box and effect organizational change.
Requirements
- Manages a team of subordinate managers and support staff.
- Manages a large offshore team.
- Cultivates business relationships with senior leaders to provide input on strategic business initiatives.
- Drives problem-solving activities and makes informed decisions to ensure the business segment produces high-quality product at low cost and meets agreed-upon cycle time service levels.
- Works independently and makes sound business decisions with minimal supervision.
- Requires 6+ years of directly related experience.
- Requires 5+ years of management and leadership experience.
- Title insurance experience required.
