About the Role

Horizon Media is seeking a motivated individual to join their team, contributing to digital media strategy, negotiation, buying, campaign management, reporting, and reconciliation. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners to develop and execute effective media plans, ensuring client success and driving business solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members for strategy and plan development.
  • Identify how digital strategy aligns with overall brand communication goals.
  • Utilize Horizon Media's tools for planning, evaluation, and buying analysis.
  • Participate in team brainstorms for plan and consideration set development.
  • Monitor and apply knowledge of digital trends, tools, and opportunities.
  • Contribute to the creation and presentation of media-specific documents.
  • Gather rates for planning costs.
  • Negotiate and steward buys across multiple accounts.
  • Analyze daypart mixes and pricing within plans.
  • Lead RFP creation, review partner responses, compile proposal analysis, and drive negotiations.
  • Oversee accuracy of plan details and insertion orders within internal systems.
  • Maintain collaboration with key contacts including Partners, Creative Agencies, Paid Social, and Programmatic.
  • Set up campaigns in Prisma and SBMS.
  • Implement site tagging and ensure proper trafficking of first- and third-party data.
  • Issue specs documents, IOs, and ensure timely receipt of materials from creative agencies.
  • Oversee the creation of campaign post-launch information for proof of placement.
  • Assist with mid-campaign reconciliation, billing, pacing, campaign validation, and brand safety.
  • Manage market budgets and deliverables.
  • React quickly to campaign results and implement optimizations.
  • Assist account managers with budget maintenance, clearance spreadsheets, and campaign data.
  • Ensure all deals are delivering throughout the campaign flight.
  • Participate in campaign results meetings with clients and strategy teams.
  • Monitor and report on media campaigns, communicating optimization opportunities and challenges.
  • Parse ad verification and ad server data to provide critical thinking and analysis.
  • Provide data for dashboards and Excel trackers, ensuring accuracy and validity.
  • Analyze MSAs and delivery reports from partners to deliver post reports.
  • Reconcile monthly invoices and track monthly totals by deal.
  • Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate invoice input.
  • Resolve discrepancies with respective partners.
  • Train Assistants and onboard new Associates.
  • Delegate tasks and provide real-time feedback to direct reports.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal departments and external partners.
  • Manage up and down, collaborating with Senior Associates and Supervisors on account activities.

  • Experience with national buying across the linear and digital landscape
  • Background in analyzing and managing buys towards campaign performance metrics
  • Knowledge of various channels and buying methods (video, display, programmatic, social)
  • Familiarity with marketing principles, analytics and concepts
  • Competence within systems and tools related to the media planning process (i.e. media management system, billing system, competitive and targeting tools)

Salary/Compensations

  • $140,000.00 - $165,000.00
