About the Role

Support Investment Counsellors, Portfolio Managers, and their teams by preparing accurate trade instructions, resolving investment policy and trade-related inquiries, and coordinating complex trade analysis and correction activities. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service to our high-net-worth clients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate asset allocation instructions and portfolio rebalancing activities for Private Client managed portfolios.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of Pool and Segregated portfolio models, ensuring alignment with client objectives, risk profiles, IPS requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Investigate and resolve trade-related inquiries by analyzing issues, recommending solutions, and driving timely resolutions.
  • Perform portfolio market value analysis as it relates to LOI/Adjustment requests, and coordinate the end-to-end correction process with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide timely and professional support to Investment Counsellors, Portfolio Managers, their assistants, and other business partners.
  • Review daily integrity reports and contribute to quality control, risk mitigation, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Participate in special projects, process improvement initiatives, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Finance or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial services industry, with knowledge of mutual funds and investment products such as stocks, bonds, ETFs, GICs, and derivatives.
  • Understanding of investment management principles, portfolio construction, and asset allocation concepts.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
