About the Role
The Public Sector Lockbox business is a multi-shift, 363 days-per-year operational unit that provides a variety of services to government clients to assist them in managing their receivables and sensitive documents. The core function of this business in Getzville is Data Entry. A successful candidate must be able to work weekends/holidays, additional hours as required and successfully complete the government-required background check.
Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards in all data entry functions, including auditing.
- Demonstrate high level of focus and attention to detail to ensure strong quality and minimize rework.

- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.

- Assist with staff education as needed.

- Provide transactional processing support for respective product.
- Perform data entry and auditing of client products.

- Perform multiple transactions of moderate complexity to achieve operating efficiency and high productivity.
- Provide backup coverage for team members and assist as needed.

Requirements
- Demonstrated history of strong interpersonal skills and positive peer engagement in a diverse environment.

- Flexibility and adaptability to multi-task and prioritize in a high-paced processing environment with strict deadlines and service levels.
- Demonstrated history of working well within a team environment, requiring respectful communication and teamwork.
- General PC Proficiency, including MS Office and Lockbox Applications.
- Public Sector Lockbox operations experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills.
- Highly motivated and execution-driven.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate weekends/holidays and additional hours.
- Prior Lockbox, payment processing, banking experience, or operations experience preferred.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Manual dexterity required, as all tasks are repetitive.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (green card) is a prerequisite.
- Must be able to speak, write, and understand English.
- Must pass an extensive background check including criminal, credit, and drug (renewed every 5 years).
- Successful candidate must be able to successfully complete the Background and Treasury File process.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic MS Office skills.
- Must be able to meet data entry productivity and quality goals.
- Must have strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team member.
- Ability to respond under pressure and multi-task.
- Ability to work overtime and flexible work hours based upon business needs.
- Excellent attendance required.
- Must include one weekend night.
