About the Role
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for recruiting and sourcing for sales, client relationship management, and other roles. This role employs innovative recruiting techniques to attract top talent and manages candidates through the recruiting and selection process. You will consult with business clients and participate in projects to enhance the recruiting experience, significantly impacting Capital One Canada's growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process, including creating job descriptions, sourcing diverse candidate pipelines, marketing Capital One’s talent brand, screening candidates, advising hiring managers, and negotiating job offers.
- Source candidates beyond direct applications using search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and innovative techniques.
- Advise clients and leadership on market trends and effective talent attraction strategies.
- Develop candidate pipeline strategies using talent marketing, LinkedIn sourcing, and referrals.
- Create and extend job offers and close identified candidates.
- Leverage recruiting data to provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners.
- Identify and engage potential partnerships to promote Capital One as an employer of choice.
- Work on business improvement initiatives including talent strategy, sourcing tools, and pre-assessments.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in recruitment in a corporate/staffing environment recruiting for senior level positions.
- Experience collaborating with recruiting managers and peers on sourcing strategies.
- Experience serving as a talent advisor and partner to hiring managers and leadership for all things related to recruiting.
- Workday experience is a strong asset.
- 2+ years of experience leveraging sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Google x-ray searches.
- 2+ years of experience creating and updating talent maps.
