About the Role
Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Senior Designer to focus on training new designers, quality control, and client issue resolution. This role is based in our south Denver, Colorado office.
Responsibilities
- Quality control of work and actioning client items.
- Design facilities for new and existing customers according to client construction standards.
- Interpret construction drawings to determine job scopes.
- Manage and report on multiple projects from start to finish.
- Collaborate with engineers, customers, and support teams to meet deadlines.
- Obtain necessary permits and easements.
- Execute contracts and agreements in compliance with administrative instructions and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with customers, vendors, and supervisors on job aspects.
- Provide cost-effective estimates to customers.
- Schedule and attend on-site meetings with customers to determine site-specific requirements.
- Inspect work in progress to ensure documentation conforms to standards.
- Communicate problems to the Design Manager.
- Serve as a team resource for project problem-solving.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience working in SAP platform.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with all customers.
- Must possess and maintain an appropriate and valid Driver’s License.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Excellent analytical skills with high-level accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and plan work activities effectively and efficiently.
- Must be comfortable and effective working in an environment with changing demands, delays, and unexpected situations.
