About the Role
MLSE is seeking a client-centric, strategic marketer with a passion for sports and culture to join the Global Partnership Marketing team. This role will focus on the strategic building and execution of sport marketing partnerships for leading and emerging brands, producing award-winning marketing programs.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support a portfolio of integrated partnerships with supervision.
- Build strong and trusted business relationships with clients through regular and proactive contact.
- Develop a deep understanding of the partner’s business and competitive environment.
- Contribute to the development and execution of creative, integrated marketing solutions.
- Be accountable for individual partner budgets with monthly and year-end reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team at MLSE throughout all stages of partnership development.
- Contribute to detailed post-mortems on programs and year-end reports.
- Demonstrate resilience and adapt to evolving plans and strategies.
- Find solutions for conflicting issues on partnerships and know when to escalate.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in a business-related discipline.
- 1-3 years of related and meaningful experience in marketing, strategy and/or partnership marketing.
- Basic comprehension of general marketing and partnership principles with a mindset for client service.
- Experience managing budgets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with public speaking.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships both internally and externally.
- Ability to multi-task and manage evolving priorities.
- Proven ability to perform well under pressure and willingness to take initiative.
- Available to work evenings and weekends as required.
