About the Role
Weber Shandwick is seeking an Manager/Influencer Reporting Lead to analyze social data and inform GM's social strategy. This role involves identifying trends, recommending engagement tactics, and building reports on creator performance. You will collaborate with Communications Research & Analytics team members to provide a comprehensive view of GM's presence across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a go-to expert on social trends and content creator/influencer performance.
- Recommend earned social engagement tactics, content approaches, and creator/influencer outreach based on data analysis.
- Build monthly creator benchmarking reports across platforms and activations that are easy to scan and act on.
- Research and recommend content creator partners based on audience demographics, event type, platform, and performance.
- Build ongoing creator and community maps to understand narrative shapers and audience influence.
- Present social insights clearly to internal stakeholders and leadership to inform strategy.
- Keep social reporting tools and methods updated by tracking new capabilities and best practices.
- Collaborate with social analysts and partners across General Motors to connect insights.
- Support the Trend IQ Center by surfacing emerging social and cultural trends relevant to GM and its brands.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant full-time experience in marketing analytics, digital analytics, social listening, or campaign measurement.
- Demonstrated experience analyzing and synthesizing data from first-party and third-party sources (e.g., social listening, web analytics, syndicated research).
- Experience analyzing paid, earned, owned, and influencer media strategies.
- Experience engaging and collaborating with large, complex clients.
- Federal government experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in translating data and research into high-level strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
- Ability to work independently while bringing unique analytics skills to large, integrated client teams.
- Desire and capacity to take full ownership of work tracks, manage complicated processes, and deliver with excellence.
- Ability to build trust, nurture client relationships, and make complex data accessible and meaningful to various partners.
- Strong interest in and understanding of emerging AI tools and their application to data analysis and insight generation.
