About the Role

Piping Rock Health Products is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Administrative Assistant to coordinate office functions and support the Director of Packaging with daily tasks. The ideal candidate is proficient in MS Office, tech-savvy, detail-oriented, self-motivated, adaptable, and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general clerical duties, including file maintenance.
  • Assist with facility checks as needed.
  • Review and create training materials based on revised SOPs.
  • Develop new SOP folders for new hires.
  • Conduct SOP and Safety training for new employees.
  • Provide training on new SOPs/WIs and OPLs.
  • Maintain records for safety SOP/WI and OPL training.
  • Update the safety matrix and maintain SOPs.
  • Manage production inventory supplies.
  • Conduct Batch Record Reviews.
  • Ensure safety data sheets are up-to-date.
  • Prepare documentation for Social Compliance and GMP audits.
  • Support various projects and provide additional assistance.
  • Lead engaging group training sessions.
  • Offer support to other departments as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an office environment.
  • Experience working in a busy environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong facilitation and public speaking skills with the ability to train groups effectively.
  • Superb organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate second and third shift training.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure and interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • High proficiency with MS Office and other business-related software.
  • Must comply with GMP requirements.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
  • Must be able to work in a physically challenging environment.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening, including testing for all illegal substances per Federal Guidelines.
