About the Role

As Nursery Room Leader, you'll be an ambassador for Kido's values and a gatekeeper for our vibrant culture. This role offers a chance to build a remarkable career in a fast-growing international company.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team with the smooth running of day-to-day activities by communicating key information to team members and parents
• Be a positive role model by inspiring outstanding teaching and learning every day
• Lead your team’s performance reviews by giving supportive feedback, setting clear SMART goals, and encouraging them to grow and reach their next steps
• Work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) ensuring the safety and welfare of all children is always prioritised
• Lead an ambitious curriculum for your room making sure that everyone is striving for outstanding in their education delivery
• Ensure that the key person approach is well embedded in your room and every child also has both a key person and a buddy key person
• Take pride in your development by ensuring you access continued professional development opportunities and encourage your team to do so

Requirements

• Hold a relevant childcare qualification, Level 3 minimum
• Have experience working within management in Early Years
• Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English including functional skills are a must if you obtained a Level 3 qualification after 2014
• Shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide details of all unspent convictions and those that would not be filtered, prior to the date of the interview
• Successful candidates are expected to undergo pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS and barred lists check

Salary/Compensations

• £28,000 - £33,000 / year
