About the Role
The Community Store Shift Supervisor assists the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in the daily operations of the retail store. This role involves working on the floor with team members, coaching, supporting, and processing donations. The Shift Supervisor acts as the Manager in their absence.
Responsibilities
- Ensure 100% donor satisfaction and World Class customer service expectations are met.
- Model the Customer Care Cycle (I Care) consistently and mentor the team.
- Monitor and manage the flow of donations according to standard procedures and business models.
- Assist the Manager or Assistant Manager in daily store operations.
- Assist Manager in staff scheduling and preparing time and attendance reports.
- Train, develop, and supervise team members.
- Monitor team member behavior and activity, and assist with managing performance.
- Assist the Community Store Manager in complying with organizational image, security, and safety practices.
- Ensure Safety standards are maintained through training, inspections, reports, and observation.
- Ensure statistical counts are completed accurately and timely.
- Complete cash register readings, cash reports, daily deposits, paid outs, and WESA reports.
- Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive pricing.
- Support the Goodwill mission through assessments, training, and community partnerships.
- Perform other assigned duties and managerial responsibilities.
- Assess and assign employees to work positions based on business needs.
- Ensure the delivery of world-class customer service to all customers.
- Refer decisions above their authority level to the Community Store Manager.
Requirements
- Satisfactory criminal reference check - vulnerable persons check.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.

- $41,000- $46,000 Annually
