About the Role
The Ticketing Operations Assistant is a technical, operational, and support-based role responsible for the configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the Archtics ticketing system. This role collaborates with Ticketing System Administrators, management, and stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of complex ticketing needs.
Responsibilities
- Configuration and customization of the ticketing system including event builds, tickets and layouts, accreditation and packages, access and permissions, departmental allocations, and online ticketing portals.
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders from ticketing planning through execution and ongoing support.
- Preparation of reports and lists involving ticketing system data and customers.
- Ensuring quality and accuracy for all ticketing initiatives, in-person and online.
- Creating and assisting stakeholders on 3rd party events to ensure smooth operation through the ticketing system.
Requirements
- Experience with professional event ticketing and/or patron management systems (Archtics and Ticketmaster experience is an asset).
- Experience in data entry/analysis is an asset.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience.
- Ability to visualize data relationships and troubleshoot system and configuration issues.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate with people of varying technical expertise.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to multitask and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain efficiency under multiple, strict, and tight deadlines.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.
- Visa must allow completion of the full contract if on time-limited Visa status.
