About the Role

The Aesthetics Sales Associate (ASA) is a sales support position focused on growing the aesthetic market and supporting the aligned Sales division. The ASA will increase sales revenue by managing house accounts, leads, and target accounts, while also providing coverage for Inside Sales territories experiencing vacancies or leaves of absence. This role involves providing product and program training through virtual education and utilizing marketing tools to enhance market and brand awareness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage house accounts, leads, and target accounts to increase sales revenue.
  • Provide coverage for Inside Sales territories with vacancies or leaves of absence.
  • Conduct virtual training on Allergan Aesthetics products and programs.
  • Utilize marketing tools and resources to increase awareness of the aesthetic market and brands.
  • Provide information and education for new and emerging accounts.
  • Collaborate with sales management and peers to support sales goals and customer needs.
  • Facilitate sales primarily through phone and virtual communication.
  • Exercise multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage sales activity independently within an assigned geography.
  • Interact professionally with customers, sales force, and management.
  • Utilize competitive Inside Sales selling techniques to achieve sales objectives.
  • Focus sales processes on market growth, product growth, and customer experience.
  • Use sales systems and tools for sales planning and customer interactions.
  • Pre-plan sales calls and manage time efficiently for optimal customer contact.
  • Manage multiple department priorities including sales initiatives and training activities.
  • Provide support to accounts in LOA or vacant territories.
  • Communicate consistently with management and peers to achieve sales goals.
  • Assist new accounts, manage existing customer accounts, and manage sample allocation.
  • Place orders, provide marketing materials, and educate accounts on products, programs, and resources.
  • Execute campaigns/promotions and new product launches.
  • Support the Inside Sales department with inbound calls from non-target and house accounts.
  • Answer product and product-related questions.
  • Segment accounts based on potential sales opportunities.
  • Educate prospects/customers regarding product indications, contraindications, and safety.
  • Provide technical training on product application and use.
  • Participate in marketing-specific initiatives aligned with business unit priorities.
  • Assist IS Manager with program education through regular virtual trainings.
  • Act as sales support for general customer inquiries.
  • Work cross-functionally with field sales to drive sales objectives.
  • Cultivate client relationships and develop/share reports on calls and responses.
  • Identify and address department and customer issues and their potential impact on sales.
  • Formulate solutions and innovative ideas to solve internal and external customer problems.
  • Attend sales training and sales meetings.
  • Complete administrative responsibilities such as monthly sales reports, quarterly business plans, presentations, and expense reports.
  • Conduct work activities in compliance with Allergan internal and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience required.
  • 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Highly organized.
  • Strong communication skills required.
  • Track record of strong sales performance or outstanding customer service.
