Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a full-time BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join an established group in Cooperstown, NY. This role offers the opportunity to practice within a progressive academic health system and teach residents and medical students.
Responsibilities
- Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region.
- Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
- Demonstrated proficiency in standard GI procedures and testing.
- Advanced skills in ERCP and EUS preferable.
- Educational focus – teach and mentor residents and medical students.
- Call guaranteed to be no more frequent than 1:4.
- Instant Referral Base provided with over 500 Network Clinicians.
- Strong interest in clinical G.I. and liver disease.
Requirements
- MD, DO or MBBS
- BC/BE
- Completion of an accredited USA Gastroenterology Fellowship
- New York State Licensure
- BLS Certification Required
- DEA Required
