About the Role
This role will work directly with clients and EPIC Financial Services team members on new business strategies and portfolio management. Responsibilities include supporting producers in new business endeavors and coordinating team members to deliver seamless new business proposals. Success requires attention to detail, strong communication, teamwork, drive, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced, high-standard environment. The candidate must have intimate knowledge of Property & Casualty coverages and familiarity with running a Property & Casualty book of business.
Responsibilities
- Maintain new business pipeline
- Coordinate internal EPIC resources on new deals
- Drive strategy sessions with internal teams, producers, and clients
- Act as the main point of contact between all parties during the new business, quoting, and onboarding process
- Coordinate proposal and deliverable to the client
- Assign proper service team in a timely fashion
- Support the service team in getting up to speed on the account and transition
- Work with service teams during renewals, coordinating with placement resources
- Handle diligence-related matters
- Address service-related issues requiring guidance
- Request required information to start the new business process from the prospect
- Ensure overarching strategies are being driven
- Provide Stewardship Reporting to Private Equity Firms
- Work with individual service teams to collect necessary data and coordinate deliverables
- Service select Private Equity Firms to drive strategy
- Maintain trackers and pipelines for clients and/or prospects
- Collaborate with producers, placement teams, and technical assistants to deliver best-in-class client service
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
- A minimum of 7 years of commercial Property & Casualty (General Liability, Automobile, Workers’ Compensation, Umbrella, Property) experience in a mid-size brokerage or carrier
- Prior experience working with financial services, manufacturing, transportation industries preferred
- Knowledge of insurance coverage forms, policy structure, and terminology
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software)
- Strong attention to detail
