About the Role

Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a BC/BE General Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join their staff in central New York. This role offers a collegial working environment within a group employed model, with opportunities for regional travel to outreach clinics.

Responsibilities

• Perform minimal invasive GYN surgical procedures (vaginal, laparoscopic, or robotic).
• Conduct general Gynecology clinic.
• Perform advanced hysteroscopy and laparoscopic surgeries, including with the DaVinci robot.
• Provide services in UroGyn and GynOnc.
• Travel to outreach clinics 1-2 days per week.
• Participate in 1-2 (12hr) inpatient call shifts per month to maintain obstetrical skills.
• Work with an established OB Hospitalist group and 24-hr Midwifery coverage.
• Utilize the integrated EPIC Electronic Health Record.
• Potentially obtain an academic appointment with the Columbia University medical school campus.

Requirements

• MD, DO or MBBS degree.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible.
• Completion of an accredited USA OBGYN Residency.
• New York State Licensure or eligibility to obtain.
• BLS Certification Required.
• DEA Required.
