About the Role
Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking an Ophthalmologist to join their staff in central New York. This role involves high-volume cataract surgery and general ophthalmology within an integrated academic health system.
Responsibilities
- Perform high volume cataract surgery and general ophthalmology.
- Collaborate with a team of 5 Ophthalmologists and 3 Optometrists.
- Support sub-specialty interests in glaucoma, oculoplastic, cornea, and cataract surgery.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (every 5th weekend).
Requirements
- MD, DO or MBBS degree.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Ophthalmology.
- Completion of an accredited USA Ophthalmology residency.
- New York medical license or eligibility.
- BLS Certification required.

Salary/Compensations
- $433,000 - $525,000 plus performance-based compensation.
