About the Role

Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join an established group of 5 Ophthalmologists and 3 Optometrists. The current need is for a general ophthalmologist who can provide comprehensive eye care within an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region. This is a progressive academic health system and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive eye care as a general ophthalmologist.
Attend outreach clinics at one location each.
Participate in on-call duties every 5th weekend.

Requirements

MD, DO or MBBS.
BC/BE.
Completion of an accredited USA Ophthalmology Residency.
New York medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
BLS Certification Required.

Salary/Compensations

$433,000 - $525,000 plus performance-based compensation.
