Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, record vital signs, and conduct focused assessments.
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications and injections.
- Conduct EKGs, phlebotomy, wound care, splinting, and specimen collection.
- Document patient care within the electronic medical record.
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions.
Requirements
- Hold a current New York State LPN license.
- Experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Department, or ambulatory settings is preferred.
