About the Role
Tekton Research is seeking an experienced Psychometric Rater in Houston, Texas to conduct interviews and administer psychometric rating scales for research participants in various health conditions, ensuring compliance with study protocols and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Review subject medical history and conduct prescreening interviews to determine eligibility for studies.
- Administer a variety of psychometric rating scales to subjects with various diagnoses, adhering to study protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Travel to other Tekton sites to conduct ratings as needed.
- Ensure subject safety by responding to potential harm identified during evaluations.
- Collaborate with site staff and business development to promote Tekton to sponsors and CROs.
- Attend and present at conferences when required.
- Calculate and utilize rating scale results to determine protocol eligibility.
- Meet with Sponsors, Study Monitors, and Medical Monitors to address rating-related questions.
- Maintain consistency in rating performance and review ratings for efficacy and consistency.
- Maintain source documentation according to ALCOA-C standards and complete monitor/sponsor queries.
- Complete sponsor-assigned training and meetings for rater certification.
- Attend and complete company training programs, webinars, and study meetings.
- Maintain confidentiality of subjects, customers, and company information.
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Requirements
- Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft applications, email, electronic health records, and web applications.
- Ability to type proficiently (40+ wpm).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal and listening skills.
- Ability to work well independently and with others.
