About the Role
Seeking a part-time fill-in shuttle driver to cover weekday evening shifts and/or Saturdays, as well as campus events. Additional charter and overtime work is available in the surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Greet patrons politely and assist them.
- Safely shuttle customers to various destinations.
- Open and close doors for patrons.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and signs for safe shuttle operation.
- Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers, including radio contact.
- Complete required pre-trip inspections to meet safety requirements.
- Record passenger counts and trip times.
- Complete necessary paperwork for daily operations.
- Assist in equipment setup and breakdown.
- Sweep shuttles and remove debris to ensure cleanliness.
- Fill in as a lot attendant when needed.
- Communicate mechanical problems with shuttles to management.
- Comply with company procedures for shuttle operations.
- Operate wheelchair lift and secure chairs with tie-downs as needed.
Requirements
- Must be over 20 years of age.
- Customer service experience is a must.
- A valid driver's license with a CDL and passenger endorsement is required.
- A valid medical card is required.
- Background checks, SORI checks, drug tests, and driving tests will be conducted.
