About the Role
Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide Nocturnist Hospitalist services at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta, NY.
Responsibilities
- Provide Nocturnist Hospitalist services.
- Admit patients from the ED and nearby hospitals.
- Field transfer calls.
- Cross cover inpatients.
- Attend codes and rapid responses with the direct assistance of an in-house (24/7) board-certified Emergency Medicine physician.
- Utilize telephone back-up from hospitalist physicians.
- Build relationships with other practitioners at A.O. Fox Hospital and within Bassett Healthcare Network.
Requirements
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Must possess NYS Licensure.
- Previous Inpatient Experience Preferred.
- Must have DEA.
- Must be motivated to tackle challenges.
- Must be able to work independently.
Skills
- Procedural skills preferred but not required.
- Fully Integrated EPIC electronic medical record experience.

- Hours are 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM

Salary/Compensations
- $150,000 - $180,000
