About the Role
Help people create homes they love. Join the Urban Barn team as a Part-time Sales Associate at our London Hyde Park store in London, ON. Enrich the customer experience while growing your experience with a well-known Canadian retailer.
Responsibilities
- Guide customers in their décor choices, suggesting the best products for their needs
- Provide a warm greeting to every customer
- Establish connections with customers to build customer loyalty
- Carry out transactions (purchases, exchanges, and returns)
- Maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store
Requirements
- At least 2 years of Retail Sales experience
- A passion for interior décor and merchandising
- Ease of using technology such as a Point-of-Sale system and iPad
- Flexible schedule to work a minimum of 3 days (12-20 hours) per week – including at least 1 weekend and 1 weekday daytime shift
- The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg
