About the Role

This role involves logging, tracking, and documenting specimen information, processing incoming specimens, performing pathology review, preparing kits, organizing and shipping samples, scanning slides, and supporting laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Log, track, and document all relevant information for each specimen.
• Process incoming specimens.
• Perform pathology review with pathologists.
• Prepare special kits.
• Organize and ship outgoing samples for projects.
• Scan slide samples using the Aperio System.
• Generate summaries of the usability of biospecimens for translational science projects.
• Ship samples as needed.
• Order laboratory supplies.
• Contact vendors for equipment repair.
• Review emails and contact sites when issues arise.

Requirements

• 3 months employment duration with potential for extension.
