About the Role
We are looking for a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join our tax team, focusing on building tax knowledge and experience to deliver robust and tax-efficient services that help clients meet their objectives. The role involves working with Corporate Tax Partners and wider Tax teams to deliver specialist Tax advisory services, providing a high-quality client experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of complex business tax clients, including reviewing tax returns, computations, and tax accounting disclosures.
- Sign out tax returns for complex clients independently.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the main point of contact for tax matters.
- Provide expert advice on business tax issues, including corporate tax planning, restructuring, and compliance.
- Assist with tax investigations and disputes, liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
- Collaborate with other firm departments, such as audit and advisory, to ensure seamless client service.
- Assist with business development activities, identifying cross-selling opportunities and generating new leads.
- Contribute to the improvement of firm working methods.
- Potentially manage a team, providing direct line management and coaching junior members on technical development.
Requirements
- Extensive experience delivering advisory work.
- Experience working closely with Tax Partners on a broad range of taxes.
- Experience in a corporate tax focused role, including shareholder taxes.
- Passion for clients and their business.
- Awesome advisor with a wider tax mindset.
- Great communicator skilled at building strong and trusting relationships.
- Experience managing a variety of clients (large corporate groups, AIM Listed, internationally owned, private equity backed, owner managed).
- Team spirit with a focus on developing and coaching the wider team.
- Ability to remove jargon to increase client understanding and ensure a stellar service.
