About the Role

The Automotive Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and vehicle reconditioning according to company policy and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure repairs and maintenance meet manufacturer specifications and guidelines
• Complete manufacturer training and perform warranty and recall repairs
• Perform ADA installs following training
• Document repair history and parts used in Repair Orders
• Provide safe and reliable vehicles
• Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures
• Utilize manufacturer websites, software, and diagnostic tools
• Process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation, or buy-backs
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Perform manual labor including bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing, and walking
• Handle objects up to 50 pounds
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties

Requirements

• Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop
• 4 current and valid ASE certifications or OEM training/certification
• Agreement to obtain 4 ASE certifications within 12 months of hire if not already held
• Current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol related convictions in the past 5 years
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and subject to random testing
• Minimum of 18 years of age

• $30 - $34 per hour
