About the Role

The Sr. Specialist, IT Business Analyst will serve as the primary interface between IT development and the business. This role supports the existing Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS) production footprint, designs enhancements, and improves systems and processes to solve problems or increase business effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional/technical expertise and outsourcing oversight for Oracle ERP and AR business processes using Oracle Modules (Finance, Human Resource, Oracle Time and Labor).
• Offer technical solutions and general support for interactions between Business Users and Oracle ERP.
• Utilize working knowledge of Oracle Database Structures, Record definition, and SQL Command Language for research or reporting of enterprise manufacturing data.
• Collaborate with a team to develop plans for migrating business systems or interface data between Oracle and SAP.
• Manage important project initiatives with general supervision.
• Provide functional knowledge through all phases of an implementation project (Analysis, Design, Build, Testing, Training, Support).
• Assist with prioritization of issue resolution and enhancements for Finance, HR, OTL, and provide guidance for troubleshooting complex issues.
• Build strong customer relationships by aligning system solutions with business requirements.
• Stay current with new technologies, particularly in Finance, HR, and OTL applications, to align with business direction.
• Assist with project management activities related to Finance, HR, and OTL.
• Build Application Process Flows.
• Facilitate/participate in Full System Functional Verification for System Upgrades and associated linked environments like Oracle EBS.
• Assist with configuration verification of System Development/Test System Configuration.
• Capture Requirements and Definition for Proposed System Enhancements, Reports, Interfaces, etc.
• Continually modify and improve operations business systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and minimum 4 years of prior related experience, or minimum 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Oracle ERP experience in Finance, Human Resources, Time and Labor.
• Relevant experience with EBS Oracle Applications.
• Business experience with Finance, Human Resources, Time and Labor, Enterprise Asset Management, Procurement and iSupplier.
