About the Role
As a Technical Implementation Consultant within Global Payments Solutions, you will play a key role in helping large organisations implement and optimise their treasury and payment solutions. This client-facing role blends project management, relationship management, business consulting, and technology, requiring collaboration to understand business requirements, manage implementation activities, and deliver successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Project manage the technical implementation of treasury and cash management solutions for the EMEA GPS client base, including connectivity through CashPro File Import, Host-to-Host channels, and SWIFT.
- Support electronic payment, collection, and reporting solutions across multiple countries and file formats.
- Partner with clients to understand their business objectives and develop implementation plans for successful delivery and adoption.
- Own and coordinate implementation projects from initiation through to production, managing delivery milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Build relationships with client stakeholders across Treasury, Finance, Accounts Payable, Operations, and Technology teams.
- Facilitate testing, validation, and implementation activities, providing full support during the onboarding process.
- Communicate project progress clearly and effectively, providing regular updates on milestones, risks, actions, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, Service, and Operations teams to deliver an outstanding client experience.
- Support business growth by providing implementation expertise during client discussions and new business opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance client experience, and contribute to product and service evolution.
- Coordinate with internal business partners to resolve issues and drive successful project outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience working in a client-facing role with confident and professional communication skills.
- Relationship-building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- Experience managing projects, implementations, client onboarding, or complex deliverables in a structured environment.
- Proactive and organised approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within agreed timelines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to understand client needs and translate them into effective solutions.
- Interest in understanding how business processes, technology, and financial solutions work together.
- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
