About the Role
Lead hourly staff in the daily performance of their duties and effectively prioritize multiple tasks to provide excellent service to guests.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team members.
- Ensure the venue is adequately stocked with all products and supplies needed for service.
- Ensure all departmental and organizational policies and procedures are met.
- Assign duties to team members on shift and perform some service tasks.
- Assist managers in team member training and compliance.
- Investigate and resolve service complaints.
- Review operational areas in need of attention.
- Assist in the management of staffing levels in accordance with budgetary goals and business volume.
- Greet guests positively, professionally, and as an individual.
- Monitor guests’ and team member needs within your assigned area.
Requirements
- Experience working in a restaurant.
- Two years of supervisory experience is beneficial.
- Self-motivated.
- Superior organization abilities.
- Superior guest service abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer relation skills.
- Must be able to carry up to 35 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to occasionally push and pull to move equipment, mops, and brooms.
