About the Role

Graver Technologies, a Marmon Holdings company backed by Berkshire Hathaway, is seeking 1st and 2nd Shift Welders to support the manufacture of High-Pressure Vessels & Filter Housings. This role involves performing various welding functions and utilizing different welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Weld and document production of products.
• Read and interpret blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirements.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions.
• Move parts and finished product in and out of the welding area.
• Perform quality checks on finished goods to ensure products meet all specifications.
• Complete all required documentation related to product produced.
• Document and report raw material consumption for all finished product.
• Communicate quality issues to appropriate personnel and provide data for disposition of nonconforming material.
• Ensure all operations conform to ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in on-the-job MIG and TIG welding.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to use various measuring instruments.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
