About the Role

The Operations Lead is responsible for applying all cash-desk and stock procedures, ensuring the daily management of the boutique's cash-desk and stock, and leading the stock team on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

  • Guarantee the application and reliability of all financial procedures.
  • Execute all opening and closing cash-desk procedures.
  • Control accuracy before and after payment.
  • Execute all payments and ensure follow-up.
  • Ensure follow-up of deposits, VAT-off sales, and refunds.
  • Execute and provide cash-desk reports.
  • Exchange information with the financial back office.
  • Control daily balance of the cash-desk.
  • Solve all payment problems.
  • Manage all financial aspects of omni-channel orders for the boutique.
  • Prepare and execute daily banking reconciliation between Harrods and Cartier reports.
  • Investigate and solve discrepancies.
  • Manage all stock transfers (reception, departure, BTQ-BTQ, BTQ-Corp, BTQ-Corp-Specialist).
  • Control the quality of all stock transfers.
  • Manage client reservations.
  • Manage consignments (daily, event, press, etc.).
  • Prepare pieces for display.
  • Perform price labelling and price changes.
  • Manage all omni-channel orders from a stock management perspective.
  • Prepare e-commerce sales on Harrods.com.
  • Manage returns and refunds from e-commerce.
  • Manage e-commerce clients database.
  • Investigate discrepancies related to e-commerce.
  • Communicate with relevant Harrods and internal teams (e-commerce, finance, retail ops, etc.).
  • Participate in recruitment and supervise onboarding of newcomers.
  • Conduct monthly catch-ups with the stock team.
  • Participate in MYD and PMPs.
  • Responsible for all necessary trainings.
  • Support boutique management in creating and maintaining a positive, team spirit, and work-oriented atmosphere in the stock room.
  • Create monthly rota.
  • Support boutique managers in promoting and maintaining a high level of stock management by all teams.
  • Manage the annual count, cycle counts, and spot counts.
  • Manage all additional inventories as requested (certificates, stones, etc.).
  • Ensure cash desk and stock handling comply with all procedures and rules.
  • Apply internal boutique stock procedures.

  • Participates in recruitment and supervises the onboarding of newcomers.
