About the Role
Perform ECGs, Holter monitor applications, and manage patient data. Assist in staff training and respond to emergency calls, collaborating with the Cardiology Coordinator and physicians to ensure accurate test results.
Responsibilities
- Perform ECGs using proper lead placement
- Perform Holter monitor application
- Update/Input patient data into the ECG machine/Heartstation PAC’s system
- Maintain tracking documentation
- Assist training of staff
- Respond to all Code 99 calls and stat pages
- Work closely with Cardiology Coordinator and physicians to assure accurate test results
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent education
- BLS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation
- Ability to perform the technical aspects of the position
- Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Computer literacy
Skills
- ECG experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office products including word, excel
Education Level
- High School graduate or equivalent education
- Medical terminology course completion
