About the Role

LaBella is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead experienced teams on large electric transmission line rebuild projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to establish yourself within a growing company that encourages professional growth in a positive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage permitting efforts for up to two (2) large electric transmission line rebuild projects
  • Coordinate and manage environmental field studies, technical documents, and permit applications
  • Manage project schedules with a focus on proactive planning and critical path issue identification and mitigation
  • Work with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies
  • Work with other project stakeholders such as engineers, real estate, etc.
  • Maintain and manage the client relationship
  • Prepare proposals for ongoing work and be accountable for project budgets and invoicing

Requirements

  • Minimum BS or BA in Environmental, Ecology, or Biology
  • 2 to 8 years of experience in project management
  • Ability to research regulation and advise on appropriate approaches to permitting or process challenges and risks
  • Ability to review, edit, and provide QA/QC for deliverables
  • Experience cost estimating and proposing projects
  • Must be self-sufficient and self-motivated
  • Must be comfortable being a firm representative (i.e. maintain, pursue, and establish client business relationships)
