About the Role

Pinterest's TwoTwenty incubation team is seeking a Product Manager to own a shipping product end-to-end or lead a new zero-to-one initiative from concept to user launch. This role involves strategic decision-making, cross-functional alignment, and leveraging AI to drive product development and exploration.

Responsibilities

  • Own a product on TwoTwenty end to end, from strategy through post-launch iteration.
  • Pick between a substantial slice of the teams AI Experiences charter or one of the team's next bets in areas like generative creation tools, live shopping or AI planning surfaces.
  • Make product decisions that separate a demo from a product, including defining V1 scope and setting quality standards.
  • Land launches requiring alignment with partner teams inside Pinterest (AIFwd, Search, Shop with Pinterest, ATG) independently.
  • Translate company-level thesis into concrete product decisions for the team.
  • State product strategy in one sentence and connect weekly engineering work to it.
  • Run experiments that answer real questions, not just produce metrics.
  • Decide when a null result is a launch signal and when a positive result isn't good enough.
  • Use AI to accelerate exploration, drafting, and analysis, including prototyping, comparing designs, and synthesizing user research with verification.
  • Mentor at least one PM or designer on the craft of narrowing a problem before writing documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6 years of product management experience.
  • Shipped a consumer product with an AI or ML component to at least one million users.
  • Experience owning a zero-to-one product from a blank page through real user traffic.
  • Experience saying no to executive feature requests and holding the line on quality.
  • Experience earning the trust of a senior engineering leader on architectural decisions.
  • Understanding of the difference between strategy and plan.
  • Ability to state current team's strategy in one sentence.
  • Experience using AI to accelerate product exploration, competitive analysis, or user research synthesis with validation.
  • Committed to owning outcomes end to end, taking ownership of tasks outside scope when needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, design, human-computer interaction, business, or equivalent experience.
