About the Role

As a full-time Sales Leader, you support the Store Leadership Team by leading shifts, ensuring a stellar guest experience, and managing daily store operations. You will train, motivate, and celebrate associates while driving sales results and representing company values.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and build guest loyalty through a best-in-class, in-store guest experience.
  • Support Store Leadership in maximizing business opportunities to drive KPI results.
  • Motivate and inspire the team through AEO's core values, acting as a role-model leader.
  • Hold associates accountable to AEO's service standards, especially in the Salesfloor and Fitting Room.
  • Recruit and hire strong talent to ensure the store is staffed to meet business needs.
  • Train and develop associates to ensure they provide outstanding service and represent a Guest First culture.
  • Challenge Sales and Stock Associates with clear, attainable goals and provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching.
  • Motivate associates and drive engagement by celebrating outstanding performance.
  • Execute and innovate daily visual and operational procedures including shipment processing, merchandising moves, and visual standards.
  • Ensure the Fitting Rooms are always guest-ready and meet AEO Brand Standards.
  • Ensure store safety standards are maintained.
  • Commit to Asset Protection standards.
  • Adhere to AEO's policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Love for AE and Aerie products.
  • Previous retail management experience.
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
  • Strong priority-setting and time management skills.
  • Business acumen.
  • Flexible availability to work when the guest shops.
