About the Role
As a Brake & Tire Technician at Carvana, you will perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires, and conduct technician services such as routine inspections and basic mechanical repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires
- Perform technician services, such as routine inspections/maintenance
- Perform basic mechanical repair for brake pads/calipers/rotors, tire installations, and wheel alignments
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of professional automotive repair experience
- Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
- Ability to work sometimes in excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
- Willingness to use safety equipment
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Able to work mandatory overtime based on business needs
