About the Role
Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a BC/BE Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist with an interest in Addiction Medicine to join their staff in central New York. This role involves providing psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, and collaborating with a diverse team within an integrated academic health system.
Responsibilities
- Perform psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
- Prescribe and manage medications.
- Collaborate with and supervise Nurse Practitioners.
- Provide occasional consult liaison coverage, including telepsychiatry to other hospitals within the network.
- Offer a combination of telepsychiatry and in-person coverage.
- Participate in inpatient call, no more than 1:5 weekdays and one weekend per month.
- Interact with medical students and residents.
Requirements
- BC/BE Adult Psychiatry.
- Completion of an accredited USA Psychiatry Residency.
- New York State license or eligibility to obtain.
- BLS Certification Required.
- DEA Required.
- Strong teamwork, patient-centered approach, and ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary academic setting.

- $295,008 - $330,000
