About the Role
Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a qualified BC/BE Urologist to join their staff in central New York. This role offers the opportunity to practice within an integrated health system and become part of a progressive academic health system affiliated with Columbia University.
Responsibilities
- Join an established group of 6 MD’s and 7 Advanced Practice Clinicians.
- Work within a 180 Bed Primary Hospital with a Level III Trauma Center.
- Benefit from an instant referral base provided by over 100 Primary Care Clinicians.
- Collaborate with a full support staff including APC’s, Surgical Residents, and Medical Students.
- Participate in call responsibility limited to the Primary Hospital with APC’s taking first inpatient call.
- Utilize state-of-the-art OR’s, including one devoted to the Xi DaVinci Surgical System.
- Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system serving an 8-county region.
Requirements
- MD, DO or MBBS.
- BC/BE in Urology.
- Completion of an accredited USA Urology Residency.
- New York medical license or eligibility to obtain.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong teamwork, patient-centered approach, and ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary academic setting.
