About the Role
Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York and a major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the Department of Surgery - Division of Surgical Oncology. This individual will play an integral role with the operative team as first assistant to Oncologic and Robotic surgeons.
Responsibilities
- Serve as first assistant to Oncologic surgeons, including Robotic surgeons.
- Provide clinic and hospital coverage, including rounding, admitting, and consulting as needed.
Requirements
- National Certification as a Physician Assistant - NCCPA
- NYS Licensure
- BLS Certification
- DEA Required

- Previous surgical experience preferred

- $135,000 - $155,000
