About the Role

Provide clinical support to foster and maintain a person-centered therapeutic environment, allowing individuals with developmental disabilities to reach their maximum potential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee Person-Centered Behavior Support Plans for a caseload, in conjunction with Functional Behavioral Assessments.
• Maintain behavioral data for individuals on the assigned caseload.
• Participate in all service planning meetings for individuals on the assigned caseload, across settings.
• Liaise between day and residential programming to ensure consistency in behavioral planning and goal alignment across settings.
• Model behavioral interventions.
• Provide counseling and therapeutic support to individuals on the assigned caseload.
• Maintain regular communication and coordination of services with all service providers.
• Participate in staff and treatment team meetings and train staff on the clinical needs of individuals on the assigned caseload.
• Conduct necessary psychological evaluations and other assessments.
• Complete all required documentation, including functional behavioral assessments and person-centered behavior support plans, meeting OPWDD standards.
• Complete monthly notes on individual's behavioral progress.
• Participate in appropriate committee meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information according to HIPAA standards.
• Conduct self in a professional and courteous manner.
• Demonstrate teamwork by assuming expected role and maintaining collaborative relations.
• Demonstrate commitment to departmental and organizational goals.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience working with individuals with varying degrees of intellectual/developmental disabilities is required.
• Ability to travel from site to site.
