About the Role

The Processor sorts, processes, and stocks softline and hardline goods. This position prices and tags items to achieve highest dollar return and assumes responsibility for quality of donations processed. Processors will be assigned as Softline or Hardline specialists and are promoted from Processor Trainees into this title.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures.
  • Process all incoming softline and hardline goods as assigned, including clothing, household, and furniture items.
  • Maintain high quality in processing goods.
  • Generate a minimum of $10,00.00 in store sales from items processed during every two week production period.
  • Maintain accurate and consistent prices for selected items or housewares.
  • Empty containers and separate acceptable clothing, wares, collectables/antiques, and bin items.
  • Perform duties as Barcoder and Donation-Utility Associate when needed.
  • Perform duties as a Material Handler, Baler, and Warehouse Helper when needed (at Benigno Retail Operations Center).
  • Receive additional cross-training as Customer Service Associate.
  • Stock sales floor as assigned.
  • Keep work area and surrounding area neat, clean, and orderly.
  • Follow all customer service guidelines; strive to provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Assist customers/donors as required, including accepting donations and selling merchandise.
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Be flexible and assist other areas of the store when needed.

  • Vision corrected to within normal limits.
