About the Role
In this role, you'll be part of our Engineering team, working cross-functionally with Marketing and Finance. This is a hybrid position based in New York City, requiring at least 2 days a week in the office.
Responsibilities
- Understand and translate data needs of finance, marketing, and product teams into technical requirements.
- Define, build, and manage key data pipelines, foundational data products, dashboards, and tools for self-serve analytics.
- Become an expert in Copilot Money’s data models and data architecture.
- Own end-to-end attribution and conversion measurement, including server-side tagging, conversion APIs, and audience sync.
- Own analytics instrumentation across web, iOS, and marketing site, including event taxonomy, tracking setup, and audits.
- Maintain and integrate marketing tools such as sGTM, Customer.io, Impact, and AppsFlyer.
- Support consent and compliance tooling to maintain privacy-safe standards.
- Manage marketing website operations, including landing pages, tracking, and technical support.
- Explore and build automation systems to improve brand visibility across search and AI-generated answers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, marketing engineering, data engineering, or a similar technical role with a marketing-facing component.
- Expertise in SQL and JavaScript/Node for data transformation.
- Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager (including server-side), and BigQuery.
- Experience with attribution and conversion tracking for paid channels.
- Familiarity with marketing and analytics tooling (e.g., Amplitude, Customer.io, Impact, AppsFlyer).
- Strong communication skills to work across engineering, marketing, and finance.
- Ability to manage time independently.
