About the Role

As an StS Engineer, you will visit properties across London to inspect them for compliance with StS standards and carry out necessary remedial maintenance. You will also attend annual StS inspections and build strong working relationships with inspectors, contributing to a larger team that ensures prompt and effective repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Attend units for StS inspections and prepare them by carrying out proactive maintenance repairs.
  • Register job progress reports and complete job reports.
  • Accurately collate data for each job, including photos and videos.
  • Build strong and effective working relationships with StS inspectors.
  • Maintain material and supply stock levels in your vehicle.
  • Implement the highest levels of customer service to achieve customer satisfaction and handle complaints with empathy and professionalism.
  • Update information on the PDA system.
  • Comply with Stef & Philips policies and carry out any reasonably requested duties.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate substantial experience in multi-skilled trade repairs and maintenance, particularly carpentry and plumbing, and ideally plastering.
  • Experience managing vulnerable individuals and HMO properties.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external teams.
  • Full clean UK Driver's license.
  • A clean Enhanced DBS / Police check.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • Ability to work on own initiative without close supervision and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the varying demands of the role.
  • Knowledge and experience working in temporary and emergency accommodation.
  • Experience of fire-safety related work and repairs.
