About the Role

Roto-Rooter is seeking a Licensed Plumber to provide a wide range of plumbing services, including faucet repairs, water heater installations, and plumbing system replacements. Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer service calls, conduct thorough inspections, accurately diagnose problems, offer effective solutions and estimates, and successfully close service sales.
• Install and repair various plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.
• Conduct sewer and drain cleaning services in diverse environments, ensuring thorough cleaning and restoration of work sites.
• Prepare invoices, total costs of services/products, collect payment, and explain the Roto-Rooter guarantee.
• Collect payment and proceed to the next service call.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Hold a State plumbing license.
• Have three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience.
• Demonstrate a proven track record in the sale of plumbing products and services.
• Possess full knowledge of plumbing systems.
• Gain Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA requirement) within the first year of employment.
• Hold a Journeyman license or equivalent certification as specified by the state.
• Obtain certification as soon as eligible, if necessary, by state law (for unlicensed plumbers).
• Exhibit good written and oral communication skills for effective customer service.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills in client and co-worker relations.
