About the Role
Gentle Dental World is seeking a Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator in Queens, New York to provide a high level of patient care and satisfaction within a team-based environment. This role guides patients through their treatment journey, educates them on options, and manages scheduling and financial coordination.
Responsibilities
- Educate, consult, and present patient treatment plans in a clear and supportive manner.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Verify and process insurance for clinical appointments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and information using dental software.
- Collect and process payments for services rendered.
- Manage doctors and hygiene schedules as needed.
- Support marketing and promotional efforts to drive patient engagement and growth.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of front office experience, preferably in a dental setting and with dental software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working with various dental insurance plans.
- Strong communication skills.
