About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information through established reporting channels.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs of visitors, vehicles, deliveries, and security-related incidents.
- Observe operations around shipping and receiving areas and report unusual conditions, hazards, damaged property, and policy concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
